Traditional Witchcraft is not the same as ceremonial magick. He thought, well I could give him some very good advice, but he was not a ceremonial magickian so he could not teach it. He could tell his friend that good ceremonial magick teachers always warn their potential students and they try to weed-out the types that normally fail. He then planned to tell his friend that on page 19, he had misread. Instead of “not elastic” as he state, he should have read “not eclectic.” Perhaps he should have been a bit more clear. To be “eclectic” is to employ individual elements from a variety of sources or systems. He used to think the Trad was not eclectic (which is commonly believed by most Trad Crafters) but he was not so sure any more. In a minor way, he now thought that “eclectic” did apply to the Traditional Craft as a whole, but not in a fundamental way as with Wicca. He might remove this thought completely, as his friend could find it far too confusing.
