Vending Machines and Start Up Costs

Vending Machines. The most money you will spend at once will be on your machines. Every now and again you can find used vending machines ($50) on classifieds like Craig’s List. Now if you decide to get new machines, Sam’s Club sells Northwestern Heads for $61, stands fro 40$ and head brackets for $8–a double head machine will cost you about $170 each. I really recommend Northwestern because they make solid, quality machines that are well worth the money spent on them.

Candy. After you have bought the vending machines you will need to spend money to fill them and that often costs more than most people first assume–a double headed machine will easily cost 14$ to stock.

Locations. Now that you have machines and product you will have to install them around town and you can either do this on your own or outsource and hire a locator (which will set you back about 50$ per locale)

Gas. Plan your route, gas is expensive and you will want to watch your finances–poor route planning can lead to spending way too much money on gas driving from location to location.
