There is no resistance training out there that compares to olympic equipment training. Working out with olympic weights requires both balance and strength. They hit each muscle group with more intensity than weight machines. And they’re much more durable and sturdier than other barbells, providing you with a better workout. All you need is a good workout routine and you can make some major muscle gains. Always start out slowly and work yourself up to a greater number of exercises. Make sure you do each exercise correctly and avoid cheating or jerky motions. Lift the weight in which you’re comfortable. Always stay within 8-15 repetitions when starting out. You can pull or strain muscles if you go with lower repetitions. And whenever possible, have a spotter available for heavier exercises like bench press and squats.
