Everybody needs to have an emergency plan in their house. You never know what disaster is going to strike and you need to be prepared. Experts say you need to have a 72 hour kit in your house because in the worse case scenario, that’s how long it could take to have emergency crews get to you in the wake of a natural disaster. You should have an emergency supply of clean bottled water and emergency rations on hand for you and your family members. What is great now is that there are MREs for sale but for civilians. For those who don’t know, MREs stand for meals ready to eat and they were originally designed for the military. As the name implies, the meals are ready to eat and you don’t even need a heat source to heat them up because the package itself supplies one. I’d definitely put this on my to get list for the house.
