In a world that is growing at a pace, never before imagined, people are moving from one place to another with alarming regularity. In the case of companies, lanyards offered them an opportunity to display their individuality by getting customized lanyards manufactured. This is especially true for companies that had large work forces. These lanyards did not just allow the employee display their identification badges, but also allowed the employer to make a statement about the company. This was a valuable source of free advertisements for companies that wanted the facility.
