I recently started shopping for a coffee table. I’m at a point in my life where I want something nice, versatile and something that will last me a while. After going to a couple of furniture stores to start my search I was wishing I had some sort of Coffee Table Guide to help me sort through all the details.
The selection of coffee tables is almost overwhelming. I wasn’t sure which material is best, glass, tile, maybe wood. But I if I chose wood which kind is the best, meaning which type of wood is the most durable and easy to maintain. The shape is easier to figure out because it obviously needs to fit the room and look like it fits. But I was unsure of the pros and cons to storage type coffee tables and lift top coffee tables. A quick reference or coffee table guide sure would have been helpful.
