How Do Hair Plugs Work

The procedure for hair plugs is really quite simple.  A complete hair follicle unit is extracted from the scalp or another part of the body.  It is cleaned and prepared and next a surgeon transplants or implants the hair follicle and its associated glands into the scalp at the bald area.

There are two ways to harvest the hair that is to be transplanted.  The first involves removing a section of scalp with good hair growth and then, with micro-surgical techniques, removing each individual hair follicle from this section.  The second method which works all of the body is to remove individual hairs using follicular unit extraction instead of removing an entire patch of scalp or other hair growing area.  This method works well when a perso has thinning hair.

These work.  In fact the answer to do hair plugs work is a resounding yes.
