Digital Camera Review: The Canon EOS Rebel T2i

The Canon EOS Rebel T2i is the latest in a long line of the popular Rebel model. Utilizing an 18 megapixel sensor and the latest DIGIC 4 image processor you can expect that your pictures will look crystal clear in huge resolutions. But the biggest leap forward is the quality of the HD movies that you can produce. There is even continuous shooting at 3.7 fps and it has very
similar features to cameras that are twice as expensive.

This Canon digital slr camera is about a half-inch thicker than the previous T1i rebel model, and it weighs just a little over a pound (which isn’t really very heavy)  with plastic case bodyand a rubber grip that makes it very comfortable to hold and even though its seems that would be  heavier than it actually is, in reality it’s actually quite light.

Still, the design has not changed very much from last year’s model.  But the menu buttons are larger and easier to access with your thumb. It has a 3 inch LCD screen that is high resolution.  It also has a built in flash it and it has a lot of features that aim at the entry-level to intermediate and DSLR user.

Some other features include:

An 18 megapixel CMOS sensor with a DIGIC 4 image processor for high image quality and

A 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens (kit included If you buy from

ISO 100-6400 (expandable to 12800) for shooting from bright to dim light

Improved EOS Movie mode with manual exposure control and expanded recording 1920 x 1080
(Full HD) which is the most advanced video for all entry level digital slr cameras at this
price level

The LCD screen is very wide (3.0″) and clear with a dedicated Live View/Movie shooting mode

The Canon EOS Rebel T2i is a solid DSLR camera for someone that wants to advance from a compact digital camera and use a little more control over the photography that they want to produce
