Don’t laugh, I think I’m in love with my Garmin Nuvi 650 GPS unit. Is there nothing this little gps gadget can’t do?

I purchased the Garmin Nuvi 650 GPS receiver as a navigational system in the city, but soon found out that I could also use it for running, biking, hiking, camping, and best of all I could use it as the main piece of equipment in my brand new hobby, geocaching. I’m just thrilled that I didn’t have to shop for or buy anymore equipment for tracking down caches.

I’m not the best at trying to figure out how to use electronic devices, but the Nuvi 650 didn’t challenge me at all, and that is saying something.

As an example, when I first got my computer, I was afraid to touch it for fear I would do something wrong and break it, and it was a very long time before I learned how to set up my email and use it.

So, you can see why I’m so attached to my Garmin 650, I was able to start using it just as it came out of the box for finding destinations around town, and for my geocaching hunts.

I am a professional gardener and an expert with gardening tools. When our neighbor showed up the other night I felt a little dumbstruck not knowing how to answer her questions about the Black & Decker NS118 18-Volt Cordless Electric Broom Hard Surface Sweeper though and his special features.

All I had to offer was that I liked the lightweight and the ergonomically designed frame. My meager response seems to have left her kind of unsatisfied and she steamrolled away. Her questions had gotten my curious though and I set out on a hunt determined to find the cordless leaf blower in question. It took my several marts to finally find one. Hidden in a very far corner stood a box containing the tool. I unpacked it shamelessly in the middle of the store and started examinating.

No GPS manufacturer can claim to have the best GPS for geocaching. Well, I guess they could advertise that they have the top notch geocaching unit, but really there is no one GPS system that could be singled out as the one best equipped to hunt down caches.

Geocachers are no different than the population as a whole, we’re individuals with unique ideas about what will work for us.

One person may fancy geocaching in the city, and really want just a car mounted GPS, while other more “hardcore” geocachers will require a durable, waterproof handheld GPS unit that they carry through the woods, brush, mountainous, and desert terrains.

Geocaching is fun and exciting for people of all ages and physical fitness levels. Before you purchase a GPS unit to use in your geocaching adventures, decide where you’ll be doing most of your treasure hunting, city or backwoods. This will be your first step towards choosing the GPS that will be right for you.

Personally, I think bees are fascinating critters, but before you jump headlong into beekeeping you should figure out whether or not it is right for you. Here are some tips.

Don’t start with beekeeping if you are allergic to bee stings. You don’t like to spend time outside, You can’t spend a couple of hours a month on your hobby.

Do start beekeeping if you can invest $200 to $400 on bees hives for sale and other beekeeping equipment to get started. You enjoy spending time outside. You can handle an occasional sting. You enjoy learning about nature.

Beekeeping is a hobby that requires a minimal investment of time – you only need a few hours per month on a hobby level. Once you have your initial investment made, it is very lowcost, and if you sell the honey and beeswax that the bees produce, you can actually make money. So if you enjoy nature, and want a good excuse to get outside, beekeeping is a good hobby for you.

Getting started with guitar can be somewhat daunting for a number of people, although it is always the best to learn techniques and scales; it is also motivating to learn some songs to show off to your friends! We can choose to learn some easy songs for electric guitar and keep ourselves motivated with the progress.

So let’s see, one of these songs can be “Anarchy in the UK” by the Sex Pistols. This is punk rock in the most essential form. Power chords used in this song don’t require you to put your fingers in difficult positions and the riffs are very simple. If you love punk you can find more songs like this one.

There are more songs, or perhaps you’ll just want to learn the riff and leave the solo for later.

The Hitachi D10YB drill is a corded angle drill that is well built and sturdy. It is a strong machine, and therefore, it does not possess the burn out problems that many such devices are symptomatic of. The motor is encased fully, and the circuits themselves are of a strong build. This suggests that the drill would survive a fall or a drop and still operate afterwards, as well as holding up to the usual day to day torture that any power tool would go through.

The drill is able to fit well into tight spaces, which is a necessity when a device is designed to fit into corners and angled areas. This feature also makes it quite useful for mechanical work, such as the interiors of engines, where a compact angled drill is an ideal tool.

While it is compact, the Hitachi D10YB is not so small as to not fit into one’s hand. Therefore, individuals with large hands can decently use it.
